We’re looking for Catholic guests who have a story to tell about their faith life: providential “coincidences,” answered prayers, mystical experiences, or the quiet ways God reveals himself in everyday life. If you are an author or have a ministry that ties in with either of these themes, we will gladly publicize it.
Note: To increase the professional quality of our podcast show, before your time slot is confirmed we will need either a link to another podcast show you’ve been on or a short audition video.
Terry Modica will contact you to confirm your guest spot.
FAQs
This podcast is conversational. Relax and have fun. I’ll ask you to tell your story.
We require professionalism. You’ll be asked to show us your professionalism by giving us a link to a video, either on YouTube or an unpublished audition piece.
Tips to make your interview a success:
- If possible, use your computer webcam or add-on webcam, instead of your phone.
- Sit in a quiet, well lit room.
- Be aware of what the background will look like behind you. Is it what you really want viewers to see? There should be no windows behind you.
- Angle the camera to have your wonderful self fill the screen — viewers don’t want to see your ceiling!
- Make sure your lighting is good.
- If you must use your phone, put it on a phone tripod in landscape mode, not portrait mode.
- Dress can be casual. Please show up in a presentable manner.
Your episode will be published on our YouTube channel and on a variety of podcast apps. It will be published on this website. And it will be announced to the large mailing list of Good News Ministries subscribers, and re-announced in our newsletter “Insider’s View”. It will also be promoted throughout Good News Ministries’ social media: X (Twitter), the LinkedIn newsletter “Ministry Excellence”, the Good News Ministries Facebook page (and many groups we share it to), and Instagram.
When your interview is published, I will give you it’s link. Please have fun sharing this link with your friends and family and anywhere in your parish where you have connections. Encourage people to “like” and “comment” so that your interview ranks higher in the algorithms.
I will give you graphics to share on your social media sites. (You are free to make your own graphics if you prefer.) Additionally, you have our permission to use clips from the episode to promote. Please include a link to gnm-media.org everywhere you share your interview.
